first post in 2011
I haven't really shot anything since the Blackrapid shoot in LA. A girl from one of the barrios asked me if I would take her photo, so I said yes. Not really excited about doing a freebie I waited until the last minute to get my ass in gear for the shoot. While rifling through my camera bag I realized I couldn't find half the crap needed to put together a simple light rig. So, I slithered out the door unshaven and stinky with simply a reflector tucked under my arms. Whatever.

Mike, I think it was worth going. This was a great shoot.
It was definitely worth it. I suppose my point is to always strive to take great photos and a bunch of gear is not always necessary.
